Like mentioned in another review the finishes of the sword just arent up to par. Two holes at the edges, as well as two holes below the cross guard. There hasn’t been much done to fill in or sand the the lines on the pommel, cross guard and the edges of the blade looks like it didn’t have a careful finish. I know it is probably more used for larp demonstrations, however from photos I was expecting the cinematic and realistic qualities as presented in the photos(I am using it as a prop for a film I’m making an they are quite noticeable.)
One good thing is the shape of the sword and sturdiness of the grip. The delivery was fast but other than that I was disappointed with the quality.
Unschlagbar! Der Preis für das Schwert ist absolut super. DIe Griffwicklung ist Kunstleder und nicht so wirklich mein geschmack, aber das zu ersetzen war kein Ding. Jetzt is es richtig schick.
For the price it's a decent weight and ok for more forgiving ascetic uses. Will not pass many uk weapons checks ie empire.
Seems to be injection molded and the clean up is quite rough, mine has a visible amount of extra latex on the pommel and obvious mold indents on the blade edge
As others, my sword had a few defaults : molde edge extra latex and a holl on the pommel. But for the price I was happy with the look. It was doing the trick!
Sadly, it didn't pass the weapons checks. Pommel too hard, edges too sharps, it was even qualify of "dangerous".
Even if it's cheap, if I can't use it it's a rip off.
Great sword! Amazing quality and delivery even faster than initially expected.
There are a few nicks and pits in the blade, not unreasonable for the cost. The wrapping on the handle came off almost immediately after handling and needed to be reglued on.
