Description
An ornament at any market but also wearable for a mage or scholar at LARP. This model is made of a rough-textured, comfortable-to-wear construction wool fabric that enhances the authentic look. The name surcot probably comes from the fact that it was normally worn over a cotte, a slip dress worn by women and men alike in the form of a wide undertunic.

I was super happy with how fast it shipped but the apron has a high crew neck not the scooped apron like neck pictured… and I really don't like to wear crew neck… plus it's hard to see the detail of the underdress with the neck so high… it was a Viking Yule festival so I was really going for an apron look… but I picked this one for the full coverage skirt… not just an apron in the front… fit was good… since it was last minute that I decided to go, I needed to wear it… otherwise, if I had more time, I would have returned it for a more apron look
Cotton Surcot, or apron dress. Fit is exactly as described. Material is definitely high quality and well put together. This is real clothing, not costuming.

Very good quality, good communication and quick delivery. Sizes are a little larger than expected, but that's much better than being smaller!
I ordered this dress along with the undergarment dress as shown in the photo. Beautifully made and great quality! Sizing can be a little tricky to judge, but I am a size 12 in Australian women's sizing so I bought the size L for a more comfortable and flexible fit!
