ConQuest 2026: Battle Moon is a 5-day self-catering tenting-con in August (
5–9 August 2026)
Since 2004, the ConQuest has been held annually in August on the fantastic playground Brokeloh, near Hanover. In 2026 we are looking forward to a new experience, numerous adventures, interesting plots, great character driven gameplay, a city that never sleeps or stops celebrating and magical ambience.
The ConQuest 2026 is a grand LARP event where about 6200 players, 2000 non-player characters and some fantastical creatures meet every year in August to breathe life into the magical world of Mythodea. More than 1000 storylines, puzzles and adventures have to be solved with brains, brawn and skill to steer the fate of Mythodea in one direction or another.
Anyone who has ever imagined what it would be like to go into battle as a knight, to live as a powerful mage or to be sung of as a noble lady by brave warriors is in the right place in live role-playing, because here you can do exactly this and so much more! Every year, our team transforms a knight’s estate in the middle of Germany into a fantasy world for you to immerse yourself in for a weekend with the help of elaborately constructed backdrops, carefully planned sceneries, effects and numerous ambitious extras. Meet fascinating characters, celebrate in the medieval taverns or pit yourself in swordfighting and leave all the worries of everyday life behind you for five days!

Before you go
What's the difference between a Player and a NPC?
A Player brings their own character into the world. A Playmaker (we're starting to use this term in place of NPC) plays a role within one of our factions, with fixed rules for appearance, behavior, and history — bringing the plot to life and making the game possible for others. The gameplay is just as intense; the purpose is different. Battle-intensive factions: Skargen, Black Dynasty, Undead Flesh. Player-friendly factions: Tribes, Guilds, Atteron, Sarkan, and more.
Do I need to speak German?
No. ConQuest is German and English friendly. Most factions and NPC teams have English speakers, and the core orga team communicates in both languages. If you only speak English, you will be fine.
I've never LARPed. Should I come?
Yes. ConQuest is one of the easiest big LARPs to attend as a newcomer because of its scale - there is always someone to fight beside, talk to, or learn from. The Beginner Experience workshop and starter garment are built for exactly this.
What's included in a Player ticket?
Access to all play areas and player camps, use of the off-game areas (supermarket, outroom, medical station, help desk, sanitary facilities), and admission to the Fantastica Festival
Where do I sleep?
Accommodation is in tents that you yourself bring with you and which are suitable for the ambience of the event. If you don’t have a medieval looking tent, you can camouflage a “normal tent” with linen sheets or nets, so that it no longer looks like a modern day plastic tent. Get advice from experienced players in our Discord Server.

What's a "Player-Friendly Faction"?
A Playmaker (NPC) role aligned with the player side, rather than the antagonist armies. Less combat-focused, more story-driven — think Tribes, Guilds, Atteron, Sarkan, and similar factions woven into the player areas. Same self-catering rules as every other ticket type.
Can I bring children?
Yes. ConQuest is a family-friendly event. Juniors 7–13 have their own ticket.

The expedition to Sarkan continues – and now takes you deeper into the unfathomable Bone Reach. There, between endless fields of stone and bone and some barren forests, you hope to find more clues about Mitraluun, the mysterious Third Sister. But every answer raises new questions – and every step lures old and new enemies onto your trail.
Exciting battles and fierce skirmishes await you under the sign of the Battle Moon, this time requiring more tactics and planning than ever before. Here, well-armed shield bearers, agile skirmishers, nimble healers and battle-hardened magic casters must work together – in the light of Imsali and the gaze of Atana Sengra, every role is needed to decide victory and defeat!
But Sarkan is more than war alone. Behind the battles lie secrets, new realms and factions, ancient powers and gods who speak in riddles and impose trials. Who dares to look deeper – and who fears what lies in the darkness?
