Discription said that they were to be gunmetal. The photo showed the product as an iron black. The 2 brooches I recieved were painted high gloss brown. I'm very dissatisfied with these. Now I will have to try and figure out how to remove the paint to make it a natural iron look.

The 2 brooches I ordered arrived very quickly and I was very pleased with that. The quality of each one leaves something to be desired. I was expecting a wrought iron look from the picture, or a gunmetal coloring via the discription. What I recieved looked like 2 brooches painted brown with a glossy spray paint. Something quickly and shoddily made.

Item is magnificent. Even comes looking aged and tarnished to add to the aesthetic. Very nice, and perfect to keep my burgschneider cloak closed.
Perfect cloak clasp and much easier to work with than most frogs. I'm also not worried about it coming undone while running out moving about.
