I was pleased with the quality of this woven cotton garment. I purchased this for my son just a few weeks before a living history event. Without doing a lot of research you might expect to be disappointed with the craftsmanship or shipping and delivery time. I can only say good things about my experience with Burgschneider and this tunic.
First time buyer. Ordered a size up to wear over dress. Looks great!! Very comfortable. This tunic/ material was hard to find and luckily after hours of searching online, I found this business. Shipped next day! Very pleased.
Perfect under layer for medieval knight costume. Came extremely quickly - I blinked and it was here.

I'd say I'm a bit hesitant to call what Burgschieder makes as simply reenactment clothing, as Ive been wearing their clothing for everyday wear while out hiking and exploring the wilds. Their clothing is comfortable, offers a great range of movement, feel natural and really have a great tailoring to them. Every type of material they offer is great and useful, and each seam and piece of fabric is durable yet simplistic. I can mend them myself if needed, but the quality is so nice, I've little concern to their longevity.
I have bought 3 pairs of pants, 4 tunics and a coke for myself, and I stand by each one of them for their great craftsmanship. 2 tunics and some pants for my son who just turned 5 and they are gonna last him longer than any piece of clothing you find at the store!
