It looks and feels great. Excellent quality. It was definitely too long before washing (as some other reviews say), but after washing, it shrank to the perfect length without shrinking too much in the shoulders.
I highly recommend this product due to its exceptional quality. As a 5'2" individual wearing a size small, I did require a 2-inch trim to achieve a flawless fit.

I am very pleased with the quality of this dress. Shipping was wicked fast. I purchased the battle apron as well. For reference, I am 5'5', 150 lb, 36DD - Medium fits well in the shoulders (not too tight, not sloppy) and just brushes the floor.
This dress and beautiful, and super nice quality. The fit is very accurate and it's comfortable to wear.
The quality is really good.
But I always size up because of my cup size (i'm 1.63, chubby with E cup) and it was still a little tight around my chest and armpits.
But I'm planning to wear a apron dress over it so it's not noticable.
That it was to long was not a deal breaker as it was expected for me.
The material felt a little thin but I always wear something under it.
It's a great basic piece to have in your larp wardrobe
Length was long enough that even I (5'8') had to hem it! I love finally getting extra fabric to work with instead of too little! A stranger approached me at RenFaire to ask where I got the dress. It is sturdy and I can't wait to wear it again!

This dress is a work of art. It is amazing quality. The stitching on the edge is a nice touch and the material is durable and thick. I am 5'8 and the dress meets the floor. This dress will be perfect once I match it with the overdress I've sewn for the viking fair.

Arrived quickly (within two days in Germany). Wore to a a Viking wedding. Order up a size since washing (air drying) will cause significant shrinking. I knew this about linen and thought about hemming the dress but decided to wash it and it shrank perfectly.
The tunic I received was much, much higher quality than I expected. The fabric and the stitching are something I would expect from a much more expensive item. It arrived quickly and the fit was great. I am very happy!

Absolutely wonderful, I can't say enough good things about this company -I've recommended them to everyone. This arrived no kidding 2 days after I bought it, I couldn't believe it. The material is amazing, it feels authentic while being very comfortable. The size is perfect, fits as you expect. I'm normally a 2X and I was concerned it wouldn't suit my body shape, but it actually made me look better. I paid a boat load more for a medieval dress from another company that took 3 months to arrive and honestly I'd like to give it away because I see no reason to wear anything other than Burgschnider's apparel for all my future medieval happenings. Fantastic!!
This underdress is absolutely wonderful. It is so well made and comfortable! It was the perfect base piece for my Viking costume. I ordered the dress in a small: I'm about 5'4', 120lbs, with a 34in bust--the sizing guide is perfectly accurate. One word of caution--the cotton is not preshrunk. I washed in cold water and hung the dress to dry. It did draw up about 4in in length and about 2in in the sleeves. We were able to get 2-3 inches back using a conditioner & warm water soak then stretching the dress then weighed it down to dry. I also ordered their wool apron dress in small directly from their website but didn't end up wearing it because it was going to be 90°F and extremely humid the day of our event. Burgschneider was so responsive and helpful each time I messaged, and both orders arrived in two days! 100000% recommend!

This is so well made. I am happy with it but unfortunately for me I should have taken measurements. I ordered 3XL
To be on the safe side and accomodate my large bust however it is far to large for my UK size 16-18 5ft 4inch frame. I accept that this is my Error. However I Have ordered another in XL and it fits me absolutely perfectly!!! I am sure the company would be more than happy for me to return this and have been more than helpful in answering another query I had on another item, but I've decided it is easier for me to hang on to it and have it altered. I hope this helps.
