It’s a little -poofier- in the front and side areas than I was expecting. 5’4” 145 pounds 34B cup, bought a size medium. I could’ve probably gotten away with a small but I’m making it work utilizing the underdress Metta with it. It’s a much richer green in person. Nice and heavy. I definitely will be buying more from this brand in the future!

I cannot sing enough praises about this product! The quality and the look of the overall garment exceeded my expectations, and the comfort is exceptional too. The shipping was amazingly quick, and the price was well worth it! Wearing this makes me feel like one of the characters in the books I read growing up. If I could wear this every day, I would. This feels like the kind of dress a family member would make with love, the kind that can be passed down to future generations.

Das Kleid sieht gut aus und passt meiner Frau perfekt. Mit einem etwas dickeren Unterkleid (Sommer 2025 eben) sehr bequem.
Arms so tight that shoulders are tight. I'm ripping the arms off so I can have mobility.
First of all, the design is nice and flattering. The colour is the problem. I chose the green but it is so yellowy I haven't found anything to match it to finish the look. The blue and reds on this site do not work with this green. Brown makes the dress look muddy. Black is too stark.
Also, I have no idea if this dress is based on a historical garment or art.
Different colour to that ordered in the pictures.navy not blue. Fabric thick. Huge. Bigget than quoted size so needs a few adjustments.

Great quality and only needed basic alterations to fit which I have done myself. Quality of fabric is lovely and thick. I have brought 3 items from this shop and have been happy with all of them, I will likely buy more.

Schönes Kleid (gute Qualität, ist etwas festere Stoff), die Farbe ist eher Dunkelblau (ist viel heller auf dem Bild). War mir leider zu groß (fällt größer), bestelle es erneut in einer kleinere Größe- Schnelle Lieferung!

Although I love the other two dresses I received from this seller, this dress is about two sizes too big (though it is marked a small.) I checked and the measurements are consistent with the large on their size chart. I did message the seller but have not heard back yet. I will be happy to adjust my review when the issue is rectified, and if rectified, will continue to make purchases from Burgschneider :)

The only reason its 3 stars is because the colour isn't as vibrant and bright as the photos. I ordered the blue one and its definitely more navy than deep blue. I didn't realise the white collar is part of a separate dress and not apart of this (which is my fault, the description does say so but I think the photos should show it). Overall lovely and authentic!
