The chainmail Coif is well made. Comes wrapped in plastic and freshly oiled. The only thing I have against it is I have excess rings bunching up because it's made for someone with a longer neck. Overall it's a great purchase and anyone really getting into chainmail knows they'll have to modify it themselves.
For off the rack it came exactly as expected for the price, and not to mention quick. The steel feels as though it could sustain real blows and slices, however it did come with many loose rivets and when I say many I mean 20 out of the several thousand on here so with some tools it can be corrected. Overall great product and don't forget to get a padded coif!
Die Kettenhaube ist sehr fein ausgearbeitet und dazu 6mm vernietet, was ansich schon eine sehr große Leistung ist. Sie trägt sich auf einer Polsterung angenehm und hat trotz nur einer vorhandenen Größe gut gepasst. Einzige was man je nach Bedarf ein wenig nacharbeiten muss ist der untere Bereich der Gesichtsöffnung, es könnte sein dass ein wenig viel vom Nacken offen bleibt, was aber durch eine einfache Schnürung leicht zu beheben ist.
Es ist zudem auch sehr lang, was auch Menschen mit einem langen Hals einen guten Schutz des Nackens/Schultern gibt.
