HOW ARE PRODUCTS SHIPPED?
Orders placed before 1:00 pm EST will generally be shipped out on the same day*. Orders placed after 1:00 pm EST will generally be shipped out on the following day with the exception of orders placed on a Friday. Those orders will ship out on the following Monday or the next business day (if Monday is a holiday). You will be notified via email once your order has been shipped.
The shipping times within the US are 2-5 days.

CANCELLATIONS
In-stock orders: Orders are authorized and processed in real-time, so canceling an in-stock order is very difficult. If you need to cancel, please contact Customer Service by email HERE as soon as possible after the order has been placed. If the order has already been processed, you will need to follow the Returns process to return the product for a refund.
Return policy
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Effective Date: March 2017
Burgschneider will accept returns for items purchased on the Burgschneider online store that are received back within 120 days from the delivery date for a refund. Returns received after 120 days from the delivery date will not be accepted. We do not make exchanges. You may return for a refund and place a new order for the item, size, and color of your choice. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
All returns MUST meet the following criteria:
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- No scents or odors
- No rips or tears
- No other signs of being worn
- All tags must be attached
- All original packaging must be included
- No COD (Cash/Check on Delivery) packages will be accepted
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY SHIPMENT IS REFUSED/CANNOT BE DELIVERED?
Shipped items that are either refused by the customer or cannot be delivered by the carrier, will be returned to Burgschneider and the customer will be credited for the product cost and tax, less shipping and handling. The customer will be required to place a new order and will be responsible for any associated shipping charges.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION?
If you are a returning customer, you can easily update your information by logging into your account. You will find the "My Account" link located at the top of each page. Once you have accessed your account, you can click on the "Account Information" link to update your account information.
RETURN PROCESS
Step 1: Send an email to online@burgschneider.com with the order receipt.
Step 2: Repackage garments, include the order receipt, and post the package to one of the addresses below:

Der basic Gambeson besteht aus hochwertigem Material, welches sehr gut verarbeitet wurde. Die Baumwollfütterung hat eine sehr gute Dicke und polstert dementsprechend super. Durch die kurzen Ärmel und freigelassenen Einschnitten unter den Armen bietet der Gambeson eine optimale Bewegungsfreiheit und Durchlüftung. Auch die Schnüre halten super und auch bei längerer Bewegung öffnet sich keine einzige.

The gambeson I got is great. I am using it for SCA heavy combat. I ordered one size up and I think that was the way to go; I thought at first it would be too big but it has worked out well. It is very sturdy but slightly thinner than the gambeson I was using previously (which is what I was going for) so my armor fits better over it and affords me better movement. It is sturdy in construction, was very reasonably priced, and arrived very quickly. I am going to order a few more items from this seller since they are coming back in stock; this gambeson has given me the confidence to buy more items.
