Everything I have purchased from Burgschneider has been well made and fitted well.
This is true of the Chausses and Braies that I ordered. Combined with a long under tunic and a long tunic this is a complete outfit (apart from shoes which I made, and accessories).
Dt: Stoff, Verarbeitung der Naht (Interlock) und Nesteln gut. Ein Stern Abzug beim Schnitt: Um die Oberschenkel zu eng, dafür bis zum Knie zu weit, um wirklich historisch zu wirken.
Engl: fabric, machine sown seams (interlocking) and points are good. Minus one star for the tailoring; Too tight around the thighs at the top, too wide below the knee for a true historical look.
Good fit for me. Great price.
Just what I wash looking for
The Item is as described, and they fit per the selected size. It hard to ask for more. They will keep my legs far warmer with them, than without .... good purchase for those old enough to have the time and money to play DRESS UP AS ADULTS.

Loved the color of these hose, a very rich red.
These chausses are affordable and arrived quickly. Given the default size options, they actually don't fit too badly (although they're a bit baggy at the ankles - probably to make it easier for one's feet to slip through, which is understandable). I'm a bit puzzled by the three-point string construction - perhaps it's from a place/period I'm not familiar with - but be aware that they won't pair well with one-point braies. The threading may or may not hold up in the long-term, and these will require some significant alterations to work for me, but overall these were good enough to use on short-notice.
Ok base for modification, it's hard to find hose for this price
