Incredible quality! The fit is pretty good too. I'm 5'8 about 180ish and I ordered the medium. It would probably fit better if I were in better shape haha but anyway, the product is amazing! I plan on ordering more! My only complaint is that I wish it came in more colors! Maybe a wine red or a deep blue!! Also, maybe more options for toddlers! Would love to order one for my son!

At first glance, it might be easy to dismiss some of these shirts as overly basic if you are in the market for medieval clothing (particularly compared to some of the other offerings on Etsy), but rest assured that this fabric is of impeccable quality. I have rotated through a number of different shirts/tunics throughout the years and nothing has ever come close to this: Solid, thick, tight. I purchased a longer length under-tunic as my first layer and roasted in the California sun, but sometimes looking cool takes precedence over comfort.
For anyone on the fence about sizing, I am 5' 9'' 180 and a medium was extremely fitted, but a large would have definitely been to big. If you're looking for something simple to build an outfit around you can't go wrong with something like this. Edit: props to MedievalUA for the shield.
It's really good quality, although I wish there was a little more slack in the cuffs but that's no big deal.
It looked great. The only thing my husband mentioned was it got hot during the day.
The tunic feels very legit, as if this was what people wore in actual viking/medieval times. It is thicker than I expected it to be, which is fine (better for the colder months). My package came quicker than expected, so thank you for that! :)
Overall great product and great business. Vendor was easy to work with. The tunic was a different color then I ordered. The description as well as the example pic was grey but the tunic looks kind of purple/dark blue and grey. Picture attached.
Love the Tunic. I didn't pay attention to the measurements around the chest, so the XXL tunic was a little tighter than I liked. I also noticed quickly the heaviness of the it, so decided to pick up the XXXL short tunic. Can't wait for that to come in.
I will probably go ahead with a return.. may keep it. Unsure yet. The tunic, along with the pants, are part of my outfit for the Texas Renaissance Festival, so I'll provide and update after that on how it felt to wear it for the day.

*I would note I have a 52in chest and bought a 3xl because I have a 57in stomach. It did fit but this fabric does not stretch at all really as it is thick. Future buyers keep this in mind.

First of all, it arrived in 3 days to the US. From Germany. Let that settle in. Secondly, I am so so delighted in the quality. An incredible bang for the buck for a piece that is quite authentic! We could have easily spent this much on something cheap that would only get used once that was made in China, and I'm really pleased that we didn't because all of our pieces from Burgschneider are going to see a lot of use.
