While the Brandywine Festival is designed primarily for adults, we warmly welcome families who wish to share in the joy, community, and imagination of the Shire together. The Toddler Ticket allows our very youngest Hobbits to join their parent or guardian in experiencing the world of Middle-earth — living, camping, and celebrating side-by-side, perhaps with a few extra naps along the way.

Important Information:

• All minors must be accompanied and attended by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
• No exceptions will be made to this rule for any reason.
• Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the supervision, care, and safety of their little ones throughout the duration of the event.
• The Brandywine Festival is a participant-driven, immersive experience focused on storytelling, camping, and community.
• No dedicated childcare, children’s activities, or baby-changing facilities are provided.
• All programming, workshops, and performances are designed for an 18+ audience, though family-friendly participation is welcome in shared spaces.
  
  

Please Note:

The event takes place outdoors and is a primitive camping environment. Families with young children must come prepared with proper gear, shelter, and supplies, including everything your little one needs for sleeping, feeding, changing, and staying warm, dry, and protected from the sun.

The festival site can include uneven terrain, campfires, and long, lively evenings; strollers may be difficult to use on the grounds, and a carrier or wagon may serve you better. Please use your best judgment in determining if this experience is right for your child.

• Tickets for minors must be purchased in conjunction with an adult Ticket.
• No separate Early Arrival Ticket is required for children under 7. The Early Arrival Ticket of their accompanying parent or legal guardian also covers them.
• The event allows and welcomes the consumption of alcoholic beverages. 
• Parents may be asked to provide a copy of the minor’s birth certificate upon arrival during Check-In.

Please note that RP scenes are not designed for minors’ involvement. Little ones can be wonderfully curious (and wonderfully loud), so please keep them close and step away from scenes when needed to reduce disruptions to fellow participants.

The Brandywine Festival is, above all, a place of community where families and friends can share in the stories, songs, and laughter of the Shire. We look forward to welcoming you and your littlest Hobbits to Middle-earth.
