I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and the seller had it in my hands in less than a week! Based on the other reviews I was worried it would not fit my husband since he's a big guy, so I ruined the surpirse and had him try it on. Not only does the large fit perfectly, he LOVES it. The nice thick wool kept him very warm during a cold outdoor event.

Arrived ridiculously fast! Love the grey color, it will be the perfect compliment to my viking shield maiden costume! Glad I got the L tho. The smaller size I don't think would have fit over my head

Good quality of work. Note that the hood itself is surprisingly small compared to the part covering shoulders, chest and back.
I'd say I'm a bit hesitant to call what Burgschieder makes as simply reenactment clothing, as Ive been wearing their clothing for everyday wear while out hiking and exploring the wilds. Their clothing is comfortable, offers a great range of movement, feel natural and really have a great tailoring to them. Every type of material they offer is great and useful, and each seam and piece of fabric is durable yet simplistic. I can mend them myself if needed, but the quality is so nice, I've little concern to their longevity.
I have bought 3 pairs of pants, 4 tunics and a coke for myself, and I stand by each one of them for their great craftsmanship. 2 tunics and some pants for my son who just turned 5 and they are gonna last him longer than any piece of clothing you find at the store!
