The bag is wonderful. Wore it to a festival this weekend and only complaint is the button is too small for the thickness of the loop and kept flipping open. I will replace with a little wider diameter button and that should solve the problem. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars. Otherwise beautiful work and got all the way to the USA really fast!
The backpack looked great with my renaissance festival outfit :) It shipped insanely fast, I think it was here within 2-3 days? My only possible grievance is the way the main pocket closes, it's just a bit of a hassle but the button holds up anyway! The bag securely holds a lot of trinkets in the outside pockets and everything I needed inside.
The strap on the bag to close it easily broke off within the first few days I had the bag and to fix it I will have to sew it myself so I'm able to use it again. Other than that the bag has been good, more difficult to close than I expected it to be with the string's though.

My backpack arrived super fast! It seems to be really good quality. I bought it for part of my renaissance fare costume and it is perfect!!
As always, i don't know wether to use this at a ren faire, for larp, or just normal hiking. Burgschneider always has super high quality historical clothing and equipmemt when i order from there. For historical basics on etsy, i check Burgschneider first.
It is exectly as I wished for!! I have traveled to Iceland with it already, at first I was a little afraid to put many heavy things in it but that was nothing to worry about! The bag is way stronger then I would have thought! I would really recommend it!
It's certainly a nice bag. I bought it for LARP and was happy to find it as mytholon seems to have discontinued their bag of a similar design. However, It's not immediately clear from the posting that the straps aren't totally attached and have to be fixed with a knot to the loops situated at the back of the bag. So that was a bit of a surprise, but I can work with it.
Not really the sellers fault, but FedEx got it to me four days later than what they said.
My major gripe with the bag is that the drawstring for the opening to the bag is partially frayed, and I expected a little better from a company with the reputation that Burgschneider has.
Yet to see how it performs, so I might come back and amend this review after a couple of adventures.

Super fast delivery! I got this for a LARP character to carry my books and stuff and it is perfect. Fully adjustable! And it even had the bonus of having a chicken pocket! (My character Carrie's around a chicken plushy)
It's hard to find backpacks that fit the ren faire look, so this is a good find. I wish the outer front pocket was a little tighter. There are pockets all the way around it.

I am just so impressed with everything about this shop. The shipping is the fastest I've ever experienced (two days to Canada!), the quality of the item is superb, and the price is better than I've seen anywhere else for similar items. I actually use this backpack daily and it's been everything I've wanted. It's sturdy, so I don't have to be too careful with it. Its rugged-looking, yet put together in a way that I know will last. It really is just a beautiful piece of work and made with such obvious passion that is so hard to come by these days. I cannot more highly recommend this shop :)
