Descripción

The Starter Set Medieval Noble Men builds a complete, historically layered outfit from the ground up. Starting closest to the skin, the Braies Gisbert serve as the medieval foundation garment - a coarse cotton underpant with a characteristic 12th-century overlapping cut and an internal drawstring to attach to chausses. Over these go the Chausses Brandolf, close-fitting cotton legwear that evolved from Byzantine fashion into a staple of European noble dress from the late 11th century onward - a well-turned calf was a genuine marker of male elegance for centuries.

The upper layers follow the same logic of depth and refinement. The Long Under Tunic in thick yet breathable 100% cotton features front and back slits for full freedom of movement and sits comfortably beneath armor, gambesons, or outer garments. Over it goes the Long Top Tunic, inspired by 7th to 8th century designs, extending past the knee in 100% cotton - versatile enough for warrior, nobleman, or scholar.

Two optional pieces complete the head. The Coif Bertram in natural white cotton covers the neck and ears and ties with two ribbons - worn by men of all classes, and practically under helmets. The Wool Cap Hugo, a flat round cap in robust wool felt, can be worn directly or layered over the coif depending on weather and occasion.

All garments are available in a range of colors. Each item can be explored individually for full product details, materials, and sizing.
