First off it's really sturdy, gives good protection and arm movement is good. I tried to make some pictures of the interior to show just how domed the top front piece is. For the top of your torso it's great, but if you close it up the belly part is around 110 cm around, which means that if you have any amount of belly and a gamberson and a chainmail on it can be harder to breath in it. My other problem with this is that the cuirass and backplate are not fastenable together, there is a belt that holds them but since they can move, the gamberson can easily get caught between the two plates, limiting your movement.
