The Brandywine Festival UK is committed to making the magic of The Shire as welcoming and inclusive as possible. The Accessibility Ticket is designed to support attendees with disabilities or additional needs, ensuring you can fully enjoy the immersive experience in comfort and confidence.
Step into the story at your own pace and in a way that works for you. The festival celebrates community, understanding, and cooperation, values that extend to creating an accessible environment where all Hobbits can feel at home in The Shire.

The Brandywine Festival remains a primitive camping event, which may present challenges depending on individual needs. We ask all participants to plan accordingly.

The Brandywine Festival UK is an officially licensed event by Middle-earth Enterprises, ensuring an authentic and respectful celebration of Tolkien-inspired storytelling.
Accessibility Ticket: includes all the benefits of the Full Festival Weekend Ticket. Please bring proof of eligibility to check-in: a valid Access Card showing at least one access requirement symbol, or Enhanced Rate PIP or qualifying DLA (with a current DWP award letter or official Proof of Benefit). Equivalent official disability documentation may also be accepted. A Blue Badge alone is no longer accepted.
Camping gear, food, and personal supplies must be provided by attendees.
Event conditions (including camping and facilities) remain the same for all attendees.
If you require assistance during the event, a Caretaker Ticket can be selected as a variant of this ticket, allowing a trusted companion to share the full festival experience alongside you.

Only valid when attending together with the Accessibility Ticket holder
For a carer or support companion when the Accessibility Ticket holder needs substantial support during the event. Please bring proof of this need, such as an Access Card with the +1 / Essential Companion symbol, or equivalent official documentation. Both guests must attend together and present their tickets at check-in.
There is no need to submit any documentation in advance.
